Spartan Volleyball Gets Win at Home over TC3

Tonight the Cayuga Spartans went 3-0 at home in a Mid-State Athletic Conference match vs. Tompkins-Cortland Community College. The final box scores were 25-23, 25-18, and 25-20. While there was great effort on the part of all the student-athletes, a few players stood out in terms of statistics. Sophomore captain Jadda Phillips (Syracuse, NY) finished the night with 23 assists and 2 aces.  Nyasha Terry (Benjamin Banneker, NY) took over the second match with some very big blocks and a strong attack, pulling the team out of a hole and leading them to the win. Hollie Seguin (Clyde-Savannah, NY) finished the match with 36 digs.

The Spartans next travel to Jefferson Community College this coming Saturday 9/5 to take part in their season opening tournament.
