The Lady Spartans were defeated by Finger Lakes CC this evening in their last home match of 2015 in front of a full house. The Spartans recognized their 3 sophomores who were playing in their final regular season match at Spartan Hall: Ashlee Cross, Jadda Phillips & Nyasha Terry.
The team started slowly in the first game fought back to take a short lead only to fall 25-23. The team stayed in the fight but eventually lost in four games. The team continues to show improvement every match, and is looking forward to a very tough Region 3 pod match this Saturday against Genesee CC, Herkimer CC, and nationally ranked Monroe CC.
Some of the team leaders from last night's match were Nyasha Terry (Brooklyn, N.Y.) with 16 kills, 4 aces, and 4 solo blocks. Ashlee Cross (Brooklyn, N.Y.) added 20 digs to her total.
