The Cayuga women's volleyball team dropped it's second straight Mid-State matchup when they travelled to TC3. The team came out strong winning game one 25-11…before dropping games 2 and 3 by the narrowest of margins and identical scores of 25-23. The Spartans fought back to win game 4…before losing a heartbreaking fifth and deciding game 15-13 to fall to 0-2 in conference play. The team was led by budding star Jania Davis (Nottingham) with 11 kills and 4 aces. Pitching in on the offensive end was Holly Cook (Weedsport) and Morgan Haberer ( Central Square) with 8 kills apiece. Leading the defense was Makayla Stokes (Institute of Technology) with 32 digs.
Up next the team travels to Jefferson for a day long tournament and a chance at some payback.
