It was a tough season opener for the Cayuga women's volleyball team as they traveled to Binghamton to take on last season's #2 team in the conference, Broome CC. Many on the Spartan roster were playing in their first collegiate match…and it looked like nerves played a big part initially. Despite starting out very tentatively…Cayuga finally starting to play some good volleyball in the third game, but fell 3-0 to Broome. Cayuga was led by Erin Brahney-Taro (Weedsport) with 6 kills and Makayla Stokes (Institute of Technology) with 9 digs
