The leading scorer on the Cayuga men’s basketball team, guard Messiah Brown was voted to the All-Conference Team for the Mid-State Athletic Conference and the third-team All-Region for Region III of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).

Brown finished ninth nationally among all NJCAA Division III players with 23.4 points per game, a mark that also led the Spartans for the 2018-2019 season. He also finished the season with a free throw percentage of 85.5, fifth-best nationally among NJCAA Division III players.

In his second year with the Spartans, Brown tallied three games of 30 or more points, including a season-high 33 in a win against Colombia-Greene.

Brown finished his Cayuga career with 934 points.
