Red Baron Women's Soccer Defeats Cayuga

The Corning Lady Red Barons women's soccer team, having off one of their best seasons ever, started very strong and never let off the gas as they put 7 goals in the Cayuga net in the first half. The score line could have been so much more if not for freshman goalkeeper Angela Head (Auburn, NY), who made some decent saves.

The second half was more Corning, putting 6 more past the Cayuga defense. Cayuga did have some last half scoring chances when Maddie Hatt (Jordan, NY) took a excellent free kick outside the Corning box, only to see it nicely headed away by the Lady Red Baron defense.

Cayuga travels to TC3 Wednesday for a MSAC match.
