Lady Spartans Squander Late Lead to HVCC

The Cayuga Lady Spartans started the 2019-20 campaign with a tough loss to Hudson Valley. Despite leading 69-68 with 2:40 remaining in the game...the Spartans were held scoreless and lost 81-69 to a very good Vking team. Fatimaah Findley (Sodus, NY) led the Spartans with 21 points and 8 rebounds. Jania Freeman (Auburn, NY) scored 13 points and pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds for her first career double-double. Tori Mandel (Oakfield-Alabama, NY) score 11 points while fellow freshman Tanyea Jansson (Syracuse, NY) dished out a team-high 10 assists. The Spartans will look to rebound against Adirondack CC on Sunday 11/3 at 1:00pm in Spartan Hall.
