The Cayuga Men's Basketball Team rebounded from a tough loss to Columbia-Greene with a 111-106 victory over Genesee Community College.

Leading the scoring for Cayuga was Deonte Holder, who finished with 49 points after making 8 of 10 from the three-point line. Jacob Ramirez scored 17 points and Joe McCoy added 15 as the Spartans stormed back from a double-digit halftime deficit to secure the win.

Protige Watson led Cayuga with nine rebounds, and Holder grabbed eight rebounds.

"We battled back after being down 11 at halftime. We made a few adjustments, and our guys did a great job executing our game plan. I'm very proud of them," said Cayuga Coach Tony Borges.

The win improved the Spartans' record to 3-2 so far on the young season.
