Cayuga Forces OT But Falls To Clinton

In their second contest in as many days, the Spartans lost a close game in overtime to Clinton Community College.

Cayuga overcame a 13-point halftime deficit to force overtime, but ultimately fell 98-95 to the Cougars. Cayuga's record is now 3-4 following the loss.

Three Spartans keyed the offense, as Deonte Holder scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds, four steals and three assists. Stanley Beato finished with 21 points and six rebounds, and Nykis Edwards finished with 13 points.

The Spartans return to action Friday, Dec. 6, with a road contest against Bryant & Stratton in Rochester at 7 p.m.
