Cayuga's Martinez named NJCAA Region 3 Player of the Week

Cayuga freshman Hazel Martinez was named Player of the Week for March 2-8 for the National Junior College Athletic Association's Region III.

In the season-opening doubleheader against Columbia Greene Community College, Martinez went a combined four-for-five with two doubles and two walks, adding a homer in the second game. He finished with seven runs batted-in and five runs scored over the two games.
