Cayuga closed the scoring in the third when DeRosa tripled home Brandon Hoftijzer and Luca D'Emilio, then scored later in the inning on Alex Gaudet's single.

Miller dominated the Hawks from the start, allowing only one hit, walking none and striking out five. Soto-Diaz went two-for-two with two RBI and two runs scored, and Chetney and Gaudet both scored twice. DeRosa had a team-high three RBI in the game.
