Bio

Bob Hendershot returns to Auburn to help the Cayuga Baseball program. At Auburn High, Bob was a three-sport standout in football, basketball and baseball. He later went on to play football and baseball at Iowa Central College. Following college, Bob signed a professional baseball contract with the Utica Blue Sox, where he had 146 hits, 28 home runs and 91 RBIs in 131 games. 

After his playing days, Bob began his coaching career. Coach Hendershot spent stints at the University of Montevallo and Jacksonville State University as an Assistant Coach, while most recently coaching high school baseball closer to home.
