TJ Gamba is an Auburn High graduate who’s resume in baseball is long and filled with accomplishments. After a standout career for the Maroons, TJ played collegiate baseball at Ithaca College under legendary coach George Valesente and was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009. After his junior season, TJ was drafted by the Cleveland Indians and spent three seasons in professional baseball.

TJ is equally successful in the coaching realm. His first stint coaching was at his alma mater, Ithaca. He later returned to Auburn High as the Head Coach. Coach Gamba spent two years coaching with the Batavia Muckdogs, Single-A affiliate of the Miami Marlins, before starting the baseball program at Cayuga. In Cayuga’s inaugural season, the Spartans went 20-16 with wins over multiple nationally ranked opponents and a trip to the NJCAA Regionals.
