The Spartans came away with a tough road win in a hostile environment at Fulton-Montgomery CC by the score of 78-73. Zaki Thomas (Paterson, NJ) led all scorers with 27 points, 13 rebounds and 2 steals. Cayuga had three other double figure scorers with Mike Guity (Syracuse, NY; 16pts-2 steals), Glenn Taggart (Fairport, NY; 14pts-4 assists-3 steals) & Joe Godette (New Rochelle, NY; 11pts-8rebs). DaVaughn Johnson (Bronx, NY) played a great defensive game for the Spartans with 4 blocks, 5 rebounds and 2 steals…including a big bock & steal with 50 seconds remaining in game to help seal the win. The Spartans travel to Schenectady CC Sunday for a 3pm start.
