The Cayuga Community College Men's Lacrosse team opened its 2013 season with a 17-11 win vs. Jefferson. Cayuga was led by its Attackman Connor Davenport (Auburn, NY), Connor Wheeler (Marcellus, NY), and Javier Zuniga (San Diego, CA). Wheeler led the scoring with 7 goals and 2 assists while Davenport and Zuniga had 8 and 7 points respectively. Mike McLaughlin (Auburn, NY) had two goals and Several key ground balls in the offensive end of the field. Kevin Franceschelli (Auburn, NY) and Brian Jennings (Camillus, NY) rounded out the scoring for Cayuga.
Brad Rowe (Watertown, NY) made 10 saves in the goal, and Sam Gagliardi (Auburn) made a save in a relief appearance.
Cayuga's next game is at 6pm against TC3 at Corcoran's High School Turf Stadium.
