Cayuga gave the #2 Nationally ranked Genesee CC all it can handle for 3 quarters. Cayuga led 3-2 after the first quarter and trailed 7-5 at halftime. The close defense of Denzel Conze (Brooklyn, NY), Jim Marsh (Fulton, NY), and Zach Donnangelo (Orlando, FL) stifled the Genesee attack in the first half. The final score ended at 14-6 after Genesee score a 4 goals late in the 4th quarter. Justin Stanton (Fairport, NY) scored the first two goals of the game and Javier Zuniga (San Marcos, CA) led the scoring with 2 goals and 1 assist. Brad Rowe (Watertown, NY) played outstanding in the goal making 18 saves several of them being spectacular.
