Cayuga Community College Men's Soccer completed their weekend road trip with another shutout victory, this time against Clinton Community College.
The Spartans dominated the Cougars from the kickoff behind a combined 10 goals from Jake Botterill and Bigad Sid en route to a 12-0 win. The win comes one day after Cayuga's 7-0 win over North Country Community College.
Cayuga is now 4-0 on the season, and has outscored their opponents 24-0.
Cayuga was in control of the match against Clinton right away, with Botterill scoring twice and Sid scoring once in the first 20 minutes of play. The score was 5-0 at the break, and the Spartans stretched the lead with seven more goals in the second half.
Botterill finished with six goals and an assist, and Sid had four goals and two assists. Jordan Mati had a goal and an assist, and Hayden Poole had the final goal. Will Fearon had three assists, and Charlie Piper, Archie Collins, Joseph Edet and Leo Wall had assists.
The #6 Spartans will be on the road Thursday for another regional contest, this time against #2 Mohawk Valley Community College. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
