Despite working extremely hard the Cayuga Lady Spartans dropped a 77-50 decision at Mohawk Valley Community College. Cayuga kept it close for 3 quarters trailing only 46-37 heading into the 4th quarter but foul trouble and fatigue proved to be too much to overcome in the 4th. Gabby Bell (Syracuse, NY) led the Spartans with 19 points, Najhea Thompson (Syracuse, NY) scored 13 points and Sydney Patzke (Phoenix, NY) chipped in with 10. Cayuga is in action again on January 10, 2017 when they play host to Genesee Community College.
