The 2024-2025 basketball season will be Jim Alberici’s 25th season as the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Cayuga Community College.  Cayuga has won 278 games in Alberici’s 24 years, with a school record 26 wins coming during the 2003-2004 season.  The team has qualified for the Mid-State Athletic Conference Tournament 10 times and has won the Conference Championship in the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons.  The Spartans have qualified for the NJCAA regionals 10 times and reached the Region III Championship game for the first time in school history in the 2009-2010 season.  They also reached the Region Final Four in both 2003 and 2004.  With a number of quality returning players, and a great group of recruits, expectations for the 2024-2025 season are at an all-time high.
