The Cayuga Spartans fell 0-3 against Broome last night in their home opener. Sophomore captain, Katie Byrnes (Jordan-Elbridge,NY), lead the team with 9 Assists, 3 Blocks, 15 Digs, 2 Kills, and 2 Aces. Coach McDonough stated, "hopefully we got our first game jitters out of the way and we can move forward with our season. The girls have spent a lot of hours in the gym and played exceptionally well during pre-season scrimmages. This is only the beginning and we will keep moving up from here."
The Spartans play again tonight at home against Tompkins-Cortland at 6pm.
