Wednesday night the Cayuga Spartans took on Jefferson CC at home. It was a tough night as the team dropped the match 3-0. The Spartans came out flat and never found a good groove against the conference champs. With the starting setter sent home due to a very high temperature, Kierstan Bozeat (Port Byron) filled in again and did a good job. Hopefully the team has seen the last of the bug that has been affecting the team for the last few weeks. The team was led by Kierstan with 11 assists, and Makayla Stokes (Institute of Technology) with 18 digs. Up next for the team is the Kayla Bryant tournament at OCC.
