The Cayuga Women's volleyball team Travelled to Watertown to participate in the Jefferson CC Invitational Tournament. The team finished 2nd in their pool with wins over TC3 and Herkimer and a loss to Fulton Montgomery. Moving to the playoffs they lost a tough match to eventual tournament winner Jefferson CC. The team finished 2-2 on the day and took some big strides forward, fighting hard against some very tough opponents. Some of the tournament leaders were Tanasia Green (Corcoran) with 9 aces and Jojo Gromoske (Clyde Savannah) with 72 assists on the day.
Up next for the Spartans is the team's home opener Tuesday night against Davis.
