Coach Pitcher was named Head Lacrosse Coach for the Spartans in
the Summer 2011. Pitcher is a graduate of Auburn High School, where
he captained their only New York State Section III Class A
championship in 2001. In 2002, Pitcher went on the play for the
University of Pennsylvania (Penn) where he was a two-year starter
which included an NCAA tournament appearance in 2004. For the 2006
and 2007 seasons, he volunteered as a coach at SUNY Binghamton
helping them reach their first ever top 25 Division I ranking in
2006. Following the 2006 season, he returned to Auburn as an
assistant for the Auburn High School Varsity team in 2008 and 2009.
Pitcher will coach the defense, aid in the recruitment
student-athletes, and coordinate scouting activities for the
Spartans.
