The Spartans dropped another game after holding on to an early two goal lead. William Backhouse (Swinton, England) opened Cayuga scoring account at the 23 minute mark when he slotted one in the goal after nice pass from Nahayho Manasse (Syracuse, NY). Ten minutes later the rolls were reverse as Manasse made it two nil who was assisted from Backhouse. Delhi snuck one passed the Spartan keeper Bior Ajak (Syracuse, NY) 3 minutes before half to be one down.

The second half SUNY Delhi came together to add three unanswered goals stealing the win from the home team. Despite adding five more shots on goal the Spartans were unable to mount a comeback on their home field.

"This is a case of two halves and a swing in momentum", Coach Wynne said of his team. "We had moments of brilliance, and some defensive errors that put us under a lot of pressure. We just need to complete a game and play the full 90 minutes."
