Cayuga Community College Men's Soccer opened its 2023 campaign with a win over SUNY Broome on Wednesday.

The Spartans traveled to Binghamton to face the Hornets and came away with a 6-1 win over their Region III and Mid-State Athletic Conference opponent.

The Spartans filled the stat sheet, with two goals and an assist each for Raffaele Mathews and Jack Thomas, two goals for Jake Botterill, two assists for Will Fearon and an assist for Rafferty Campbell.

Cayuga hosts SUNY Adirondack on Saturday at Falcon Park for their home opener. The match starts at 1 p.m.
