Using a 15-1 run over the last 6 minutes the Lady Spartans won their first game on the season in thrilling fashion 59-53 over host Hudson Valley Community College. Tyresha Mathis (Syracuse, NY) led the Spartans with 23 points, 19 rebounds, and 5 blocks. China Agnew (Syracuse, NY) scored 16 points, had 7 rebounds, and 4 steals while Shanna Shaff (Lansing, NY) scored 9 points. Cayuga will look to keep the momentum when they travel to Herkimer on Saturday December 1st.
