Despite playing with a tremendous amount of heart and determination the Cayuga Lady Spartans playing with only 5 players in uniform dropped a hard fought 65-57 decision to Genesee. Latina Smith led the Spartans with 22 points and pulled down 8 rebounds. While Shanna Shaff scored 13 points and Nikki Loveless scored 10 points. The Lady Spartans kick off the conference portion of their schedule when they host rivals OCC on Tuesday January 8th.
