Despite playing very well on defense the Cayuga Lady Spartans could not overcome a terrible shooting night and dropped a 64-35 decision at Finger Lakes Community College in the first round of the Mid-State Athletic Conference tournament. With the loss Cayuga ends their season with a record of 4-23. Sophomore China Agnew (Syracuse, NY) playing in her final game for the Spartans, she led the team with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Shanna Shaff (Lansing, NY) chipped in with 7 points. Coach Alberici stated: "I am very proud of this team for the way they handled the adversity this season, with the loss of 5 players who suffered season ending injuries. They played hard and stayed together the entire season."
