Lady Lazers too strong for Lady Spartans
The Cayuga women's soccer team fell to 0-3-0 overall and 0-1-0 in MSAC play this afternoon, losing 5-0 to their neighbors to the East from Onondaga Community College.  The majority of play was held in the Spartans defensive end, with OCC dominating time of possession, 50/50 balls and shots on goal.

"Coach Richmond has a very strong side, and I suspect they will be in the hunt for the conference, regional championships and bid to the NJCAA National Tournament come late October.  They have solidified every position on the field, contain great size and speed, and certainly know how to create scoring chances once they are in their offensive third," said Coach Renaud.  "Madison Wedyck and Katilyn Coningsby continued their steady play in the back, we simply cannot hold the ball as long as we do and have to get aggressive to the 50/50 balls," continued Renaud.
