Lady Spartans Fall Short to Lady Lazers

Cayuga Lady Spartans falls to Conference rival OCC on the road Wednesday. Cayuga start the half on fire with a few scoring chances from Michaela Breeze (Auburn, NY) only to fail victim  to OCC's offense with 4 quick goals from them in the first 20 mins. Cayuga was able to control some of the game again until giving up 4 more goals in the first half. Cayuga was able to mount a very good scoring chance with a nice pass from Michaela Breeze (Auburn, NY) to Jenna Alberica (Auburn, NY) who hit a powerful shot only to be saved by the OCC goalie with an outstanding save.

The Lady Spartan played a far better second half but still gave up 4 more unanswered OCC goals.

"We got good efforts from the Ladies in the heat but some really shined. Coach Robillard said, Monica Espada (Auburn, NY)  and Miranda McGloon (Waterloo, NY) really put a strong efforts on the field for us"

Cayuga plays at home Saturday against Niagara
