Lady Spartans End the Season Against JCC

Cayuga's Lady Spartans host their last home game of the season against the Lady Canoneers of Jefferson Community College. It was "Sophomore's day" and a great day for a match.

Cayuga started again strongly with Michaela Breeze (Auburn, NY) and Paolo Figueroa (Romulus, NY)adding a few offensive fireworks with a pair of strong shots only to have them saved by a very good Jefferson's goalkeeper.. The Lady Canoneers were able to finally take control of the game in put 4 goals past the Cayuga's defense in the first half.,

The second half was all Cayuga again!!.  Like the first half Cayuga was able to control the game and not give up a goal to the attacking Jefferson's offense. Cayuga was able to put one in. Sophomore Captain and goal scoring machine Michaela Breeze (Auburn, NY) put away her eleventh goal of the season after scoring with a very nicely placed pass by Courtney LaFleur (Auburn, NY) 

 "I am super proud of the Ladies today, we played a full, strong 90 minute game with great defense and tons of scoring opportunities"", Coach Robillard said after the game. "I would like thanks all the  Sophomores for their play over the past 2 years, they have inspired me and made the game better at Cayuga and Region 3"
